1. Acceptance of Terms

By using GBP Gap ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GBP Gap is a free tool that compares two Google Business Profiles and reports the differences between them. It reads only publicly available profile information — the same information Google shows to anyone who looks up the business. It does not access any private, owner-only or account-restricted data, including profile views, searches, calls or direction requests.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

  • Use the Service for legitimate competitive research and profile improvement
  • Not use the Service for any illegal purpose, or to harass any business
  • Not attempt to overload or abuse the Service, or bypass its rate limits
  • Not use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal usage

4. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. Profile data reflects what Google returned at the moment it was read, and profiles change. Our observations are general guidance, not professional SEO advice, and we cannot guarantee any specific ranking or business outcome from acting on them.

5. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the Service, including changes made to your Google Business Profile or website based on this report.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Information We Collect

When you use GBP Gap, we collect:

  • Profile links or business names: The two profiles you submit for comparison
  • Email address: So we can send you the report you requested
  • Country: To look the profiles up in the right region
  • IP address: For rate limiting and abuse prevention
  • Campaign parameters: UTM tags, if you arrived from a link that carried them

How We Use Your Information

  • Generate and email your comparison report
  • Send occasional emails about SEO from HeyTony, which you can unsubscribe from at any time
  • Improve the Service based on how it's used
  • Prevent abuse and keep the Service available

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the providers needed to run the Service:

  • Email delivery: Resend
  • Hosting and database: Railway
  • Profile data: DataForSEO, which retrieves the public Google Business Profile information
  • CRM: GoHighLevel, where your email and report summary are stored

Data Retention

Profile lookups are cached for 24 hours so repeat comparisons don't re-query Google. Your email address and report summary are retained until you ask us to delete them.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time

A Note on the Profiles You Compare

The business information in your report is public data published by those businesses on Google. We don't treat it as personal data belonging to you, and we don't contact the businesses you look up.
